High School Bigs:

A High School Big is at least 16 years of age from selected High Schools, who is able to mentor a young child for an hour a week throughout the school year.

Our High School Bigs comes from local high schools.  They are typically juniors or seniors who are willing to serve as a mentor.  They COMMIT to mentoring for an hour a week THROUGHOUT the school year.


The following High Schools participate in the High School Bigs program.

Piedra Vista High School
Navajo Preparatory School
Shiprock High School
Bloomfield High School  
Newcomb High School
Kirtland High School
Aztec High School

If you attend one of these high schools, you can apply to participate in the school based program.  We will consider you for a match with a child from a local elementary school or after school program that is within close proximity to your high school.

SENIORS!    You have til August 31st to turn in your completed applications to be considered as a volunteer during your senior year.
